Statesboro

Alright, so this is my first attempt at actually doing this, so I'm gonna see how this turns out. This post shows my brief wandering in Statesboro, Georgia, on the way back home from Magnolia Springs (next post). First picture is the Bulloch county courthouse and Confederate memorial. Next two pictures are historical markers on the grounds, one for the county and one for Sherman's march. Hopefully you can read them. The next picture is a mural painted on a nearby building for the city's bicentennial. The last two show a long lost feature of Americana: advertisements painted on buildings. In this case an ad for Chero Cola, what is now RC cola. Sorry I couldn't get it all in one picture.
